BURN CARE CENTER
The importance of the burn care

The first week after injury is the most critical period.
Unless an active treatment is performed during this period, the injury can be worse.

  • First-degree burns
    They result in pain and reddening of the skin but after 48 hours, the pain and stinging feeling can be gone.
  • Second-degree burns
    They cause redness, swelling, and blistering with severe pain, affecting the dermis.
  • Third-degree burns
    They damage epidermis, dermis, and subcutaneous tissue and it is called full thickness burns.

Moisturizing Dressing Treatment

Cooling Period

For 1 to 2 days, the moisturizing treatment is
performed to remove the heat inside
of the burned area.

Inflammatory Period

For 3 to 7 days, inflammation appears
and exudation comes out steadily.
Foam dressing can help reduce inflammation
and silver sulfadiazine can control the amount
of exudation to prevent additional inflammation.

Epidermal Period

It is called Skin Regeneration Period.
Based on the doctor’s decision, blisters are
removed from the skin and biological material
such as Kaloderm is applied to the burned
area in order to regenerate the skin.

Biological Medicine

Dressing material can be selected with the doctor’s confirmation, based on the condition of color, depth, or blisters of the burned area. Silver Fomula

It is an effective dressing composed of tiny silver particles of which the ions work largely as antibacterial and released steadily in a moist circumstance.

Kaloderm

It is composed of stem cells. It is a dressing which helps minimize scars and quickly heal wounds when the skin is damaged by burns.

It can prevent bacteria by absorbing exudation. It covers wounds and moisturizes the burn area.

Cooling Patch

It provides moist and cooling effects so as to minimize heat, swellings, and pain.
