On the 5th, at MBC Happiness Shared Program [Finding Hope to add Joy], Dr. Woo-jin Song of Burn Plastic Surgery Department at Hangangsoo Hospital appeared. At this episode, it was broadcast that Mongolian Shudercechek (4 year old girl) was invited to Korea to get her burn scar with contracture to be removed surgically. Hangangsoo hospital team met her in 2018 through medical service volunteer in Mongolia. Dr. Woo-jin Song, a specialist in burn plastic surgery at Hangangsoo Hospital, said, “Sudercechek needed a scar removal surgery because her neck and face were stuck to each other. As she was not available to come to hospital often, I performed the surgery to have the best result as much as possible.” This operation took more than 5 hours, after which Schdercechek was treated continuously at Hangangsoo Hospital so that Schdercechek could recover quickly. In addition to this case, burn-specialized Hangangsoo Hospital invites some patients to Korea so that they can have the surgery they need. Through continuous overseas medical service volunteer team meet the patients who need special treatments. Hangansoo Hospital puts their best efforts to treat burn patients in order to help them to enjoy their happy life better in the future.
